# Terms of Service — Heliostat

## The deal

You sign up. You use the app to plan and track your work. You pay if you pick the Solo plan. Reedster LLC operates the service.

## Your account

- One person per account. Don't share credentials.
- You're responsible for what you put in the app — pitches, notes, public submissions, etc.
- We can suspend accounts that abuse the service (spam, scraping, abuse of the public submission inbox, etc.).

## Your data

- You own everything you write. We don't claim a license beyond what's needed to run the service.
- Public submissions you accept become content under your account, with the same ownership rules.

## Refunds

Within 14 days of a charge, ask via [/feedback](/feedback) and we refund. After that, cancel any time and your subscription runs through the end of the paid period.

## Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no SLA. The Free plan especially is best-effort.

## What we won't do

- We won't sell your data.
- We won't train AI models on your content.
- We won't snapshot your data and hand it to anyone except as legally required.

## Liability

Provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the prior 12 months.

## Disputes

US law, Wyoming jurisdiction. Reach out via [/feedback](/feedback) before escalating — most things resolve quickly.
